Jimmy Cornell's Long Distance Cruising Seminar in London - 22-23 March 2014

 Seminars by Jimmy Cornell
If you’re interested in finding out more about long distance cruising, there are still places left on Jimmy Cornell‘s weekend Long Distance Cruising Seminar to be held on Saturday 22nd March and Sunday 23rd March 2014 at the Cruising Association Headquarters in CA House, Limehouse Basin, London.

We have an impressive range of speakers lined up, from Jimmy Cornell’s detailed presentations on voyage planning and preparation to talks on medical emergencies, weather interpretation and forecasting, communications, downwind sails, renewable sources of energy, cruising couples and much more.

It’s also a chance to meet the Cornell Sailing team who share thousands of miles of offshore sailing experience between them, and to find out more about the exciting range of events we have planned, including the World Odyssey Race which was launched last month. Plus you’ll be able to find out more firsthand about Jimmy’s ideal cruising boat, the new Garcia 45 that is on track to be launched in April.

We are also pleased to announce that the London seminar will be supported by Le Grand Large Yachting and thanks to them experienced sailors will share their experiences of long distance sailing on a monohull or catamaran.

Expert speakers include Mike Broughton (Winning Wind Specialist Sailing Forecasts), Ed Wildgoose (MailaSail), Thomas Wibberenz (Parasailor) and Peter Anderson (Eclectic Energy Limited).

Here are a few comments from other seminars presented by Jimmy Cornell:

The speakers were all outstanding – superbly qualified, great information and clear presentations.

Thank you for a fantastic two days. We learned so much from you and all of the presenters. That is what I love about sailing… there is always something to learn.

A wonderful introduction to Blue Water Sailing.
