The Blue Planet Odyssey is having a baby!

It has been a busy few months behind the  scenes for the Blue Planet Odyssey team.

The Blue Planet Log Magazine

We have now completed our office move into larger premises and taken on new staff. Jane Wood has now joined the team as office manager and will be  assisting Doina Cornell on all the administration of the event.

Many of you will have received the first edition of the Blue Planet Log by now and we have been delighted with all the positive feedback. The Blue Planet Log will be published every quarter leading up to and during the Blue Planet Odyssey and in the next edition we will be featuring Lanzarote, Martinique and the Andaman Islands, as well as more information on our new participants.

The big news is that the Blue Planet Odyssey is having a baby! Well, twins to be precise. In the last few weeks we have launched the Atlantic Odyssey.

The Atlantic Odyssey will have two different starts and two different finishes:

  • Atlantic Odyssey I will depart from Lanzarote on 17 November 2013 and go to Martinique.
  • Atlantic Odyssey II will depart from La Palma on 12 January 2014 and go to Grenada.

The following year the Atlantic Odyssey will coincide with the departure of the Blue Planet Odyssey fleet from the Canary Islands. The Blue Planet Odyssey fleet will of course cross the Atlantic to arrive in Guadeloupe.

December 2014 to January 2015 will be an exciting time with three different Odyssey fleets arriving in three different islands – Martinique, Guadeloupe and Grenada. All these islands are quite unique and offer their own flavour on Caribbean life, which we will feature in an upcoming Blue Planet Log.
